South Capitol

The South Capitol Station is located between Alta Vista and Cordova Roads, behind the Manual Lujan Building. The two-sided platform is a major stop for business commuters and for those wishing to make bus connections to other locations in and around Santa Fe.

More than 200 free parking spaces are available at this location. Parking is available at the Southwest corner of the station near Alta Vista and along the east side of the tracks between Cordova Road and Alta Vista.

Station Area Development

Anticipating the Rail Runner’s arrival to Santa Fe, Albuquerque Developer Infill Solutions built 15 three-story, live-work lofts adjacent to the South Capitol Rail Runner depot and blocks from the Railyard district in 2008. The 600- to 1014-square-foot lofts represent a notable departure from typical Santa Fe density patterns, and are marketed as the city’s first new commuter-oriented residential development.
